The Faint Hope

“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a treešŸŒ² of life.” Proverbs 13:12 Life has its grey moments that makes one feel helplessly hopeless. Even the silver lining is looking silvery grey. Fascinating colour combination, but no less dull, if a vibrant colour is not added.

Gloomy doom is the feeling, that cloaks like the cloud — or smoke.

That gives the impression ofĀ  dullness.

That changes the visage and dulls the effort.

That puts to sleep or slow motion.Ā

How long shall this last? How long the weak longings and frustrated efforts and drowning in despair?Ā

When we arise and shake ourselvesĀ  Ā  From the dust of lethargic dense fog and feelings. To arise above thoughts and afflictions that consumes the soul, clouds the spirit and weakens the body.Ā

Shadows of the past, uncertainties of the future that slows down natural progression towards light; the brightness of what is to come.

Oh my soul! How long will youĀ long for desires, hope and love! Move past the vagueness and soar on the wings of courage towards your destiny. Make hast, shake off the cloak and reach to God your Maker from within , Who lives in you, for He is the Strength from within.Ā

Only Jehovah God can help you reach beyond the sky of your destiny, for there HE lives and reigns also.

And thou shall be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shall dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. ” Job 11:18
